I am going to talk about the benefits of learning English. In my opinion, it is true to say so because of the following reasons. First and foremost, I would say that it allows people to travel around the world easily because English is an international language used in most countries. In addition, it is true that it helps people get better job opportunities with higher salaries since many companies require English skills. Another important reason is that it enables us to make friends globally and learn about different cultures. Yes, I think learning English should definitely be compulsory at school. English is one of the most widely used languages in the world, so having a good command of it can open many doors for students in the future. It not only helps them access more information and study materials online, but also increases their chances of getting better jobs later in life.

2. What second languages are popular in your country?

In my country, apart from English, Korean and Chinese are becoming very popular. One reason is that many Korean and Chinese companies invest in our market, so people want to learn these languages for better job opportunities. Another reason is that Korean and Chinese entertainment, like movies, dramas and music, are very popular among young people. They enjoy the culture and want to understand it without subtitles. Some students even dream of studying or working abroad, so learning these languages gives them more choices and advantages in the future.

3. What are the difficulties of learning English to adult learners?

Adult learners often face several difficulties when studying English. First, many adults struggle to remember new vocabulary or correct pronunciation because their learning ability is not as fast as when they were younger. Another challenge is that adults usually have busy schedules due to work, family, and other responsibilities, so they have limited time to practise regularly. Finally, they may not have access to modern learning tools or classes, which makes the learning process even slower.
